Camel Rock Carpark is less than 2 minutes Drive from BIG4 Wallaga Lake Holiday Park, or walk across the road from Reception to either walk down to the beach or take the walking track through the bush to Camel Rock.
Walk over the headland to the mouth of Wallaga Lake, or walk (at low tide) around behind Camel Rock to Horse Head Rock. Horse Head Rock is believed to be around 500 million years old and is among the oldest rocks in NSW. Barely known beyond the Sapphire Coast until recent times, this majestic rock formation is a mecca for photographers and nature lovers alike.
Walk along Camel Rock Beach to Haywards Beach and down to the Bird Sanctuary at Long Swamp
Camel Rock Beach is patrolled in school holidays near Camel Rock.
Great Fishing along the beach and there is a section of the beach that is a dog leash free area.
